Getting Your Puppy Home

Multiple options are available to help your puppy arrive safely and comfortably. Pickup is always welcome, and delivery solutions are offered for families who live farther away.

Shipping and delivery details vary based on your location, weather, your puppy’s age and size, and current travel availability. Please contact us before placing a deposit so the best option can be confirmed.


1) Pickup (Recommended)

Pickup is the simplest option and gives you the chance to meet your puppy in person.

Pickup includes:

  • A scheduled pickup time
  • Your puppy’s records (health check/vaccinations/deworming details)
  • Any puppy pack items included with your puppy

What to bring:

  • A secure travel crate or carrier
  • A blanket or small towel
  • Water and a small bowl
  • Puppy-safe cleaning supplies for the ride home

2) Ground Delivery (Nanny/Hand Delivery by Car)

Ground delivery may be available depending on distance and scheduling.

How it works:

  • A travel plan is arranged ahead of time
  • Regular potty, water, and rest breaks are provided (age-appropriate)
  • Updates are shared along the way when possible

Best for:

  • Regional distances
  • Families who prefer not to fly their puppy
  • Cooler months or situations where flights are limited

3) Flight Options (When Available)

Flight options depend on airline rules, weather, and your puppy’s size and age.

A) In-Cabin Flight Nanny

A flight nanny can accompany your puppy in the cabin (when airline policies allow).

Benefits:

  • Puppy travels in the cabin with close supervision
  • Faster travel for longer distances
  • Often the most comfortable flight-based option

Notes:

  • Airline-approved carrier requirements apply
  • Scheduling depends on available flights and approved routes

B) Airline Pet Cargo (Limited / Only When Appropriate)

Airline cargo options may be used only when deemed appropriate and safe based on conditions.

Factors that may restrict cargo travel:

  • Extreme temperatures
  • Airline embargoes or seasonal limitations
  • Breed/size restrictions
  • Limited flight availability

Cargo travel will never be scheduled if conditions are not suitable.


4) Shipping Costs & Payment

Shipping/delivery costs vary by:

  • Distance and route
  • Travel method (pickup, ground delivery, flight nanny)
  • Timing and availability
  • Airline fees (if applicable)

Typical shipping fees include:

  • Travel costs for the puppy’s transport
  • Airline fees and carrier costs (if flying)
  • Coordination and scheduling

A shipping quote will be provided before travel is scheduled. Shipping fees are usually due before travel arrangements are finalized.


5) Scheduling & Timing

Travel dates are scheduled based on:

  • Your puppy’s readiness to travel
  • Weather and seasonal conditions
  • Carrier/airline availability
  • Your availability to receive the puppy

A delivery window and meeting location (airport or agreed destination) will be confirmed in advance.


6) Receiving Your Puppy

Please plan to be available and reachable on delivery day.

For airport delivery:

  • Arrive early
  • Keep your phone on
  • Bring a leash/harness (age-appropriate), paper towels, and water

For ground delivery:

  • Be ready within the agreed delivery window
  • Meet at the agreed safe public location (unless otherwise arranged)

7) Safety, Weather, and Travel Holds

Your puppy’s safety comes first. Travel may be delayed or rescheduled due to:

  • Heat or cold extremes
  • Storms, flight cancellations, or airline restrictions
  • Road safety concerns
  • Puppy readiness or health concerns

A new travel plan will be arranged as quickly as possible if delays occur.


8) What We Provide for Travel

Travel arrangements include steps designed to keep your puppy comfortable:

  • A clean, secure travel setup (carrier/crate as required)
  • Age-appropriate feeding guidance prior to travel
  • Comfort items when possible (blanket/scent item)

Families may request updated photos/videos close to departure when available.


9) Customer Responsibilities

Buyers agree to:

  • Provide accurate contact information
  • Be available during the delivery window
  • Follow arrival instructions
  • Arrange prompt care and a calm transition into the home

Failure to appear for a scheduled delivery may result in additional travel or boarding costs.
